Joan C. LeClerc

TEMPLETON - Joan C. (Comee) LeClerc, 83, of 291 Baldwinville Road, died Friday evening, July 14, 2017 at her residence, with her family at her side.

She was born in Gardner on January 20, 1934, daughter of the late Herman and Marjorie (Bowers) Comee and was a resident of Templeton most of her life.

Joan's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, a legacy she leaves behind.  This living legacy includes her loving husband of 65 years, Roland J. LeClerc; her children, Catherine McCaffrey and her husband Kevin of Gardner, Deborah Duguay and her husband Bruce of Templeton, Cindy Houston and her husband Will of Templeton, Tammy LaFalam of Rindge, NH, Carole Decourcy and her husband Charlie of Woodstock, VA and the late John R.S. LeClerc of Templeton; her 14 grandchildren, Marc, Nick, Brie, Casey, Noah, Meaghan, Nissa, Jason, Ryan, Kyle, Jessi, Samantha, Shane and Tim; and her 19 great grandchildren, Kyle, Bryce, Hannah, Lennen, Logan, Blake, Connor, Grayson, Hunter, Grace, Clint, Aine, Padraic, Maire, Adalynn, Sawyer, Paisley Jo, Haydin and a baby boy who is due any moment now.  Her sister, Dottie Liukkonen and a brother, Scott Comee, preceded her in death.

Joan treasured many adventures with her family, making countless memories traveling across the country, sailing to Carribean Islands on family cruises, and taking trips to St, Martin with family and friends.  She loved Disney World, visiting at least once with every child and grandchild, and especially enjoyed the wonder of Mickey Mouse.  Joan was also one of the original Parrot Heads, always inspired by the lifestyle and music of Jimmy Buffet.

An Drop-In Visitation will be held at the family residence, 291 Baldwinville Road, Templeton on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the home of Cindy and Will Houston, 102 Baldwinville Road, Templeton, on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 1 to 6 P.M.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, is directing arrangements.
