James C. Yelle Jr.

April 12, 1960 — November 7, 2020

WINCHENDON – James C. Yelle, Jr., 60, of 81 Elmwood Road, died unexpectedly at home, Saturday, November 7, 2020.

He was born in Winchendon on April 12, 1960, son of the late James C. and Louise Mae (Pike) Yelle and lived in Winchendon for most of his life.

Jim worked as a carpenter and handyman and worked mostly in the maintenance field.  He had worked at Teleflex, New England Wooden Ware, American Reels and Cardinal Comb in Leominster.  A former Eagle Scout, Jim loved bowling, playing pool, swimming, and hunting.  He especially enjoyed deep sea fishing, coin collecting and watching movies.  He was always will to lend a helping hand and acting goofy to make people laugh.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

He leaves his significant other, Lisa Kane;three children, Kathern Mayrand of Winchendon, Amanda Yelle of Winchendon and James C. Yelle 3rd of Gardner; two grandchildren, Emilee Laraba and Paisley Cormier and three siblings, Joseph Lavenski of NH, Gina Lajoie of Winchendon and James Yelle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of his daughter, Kathern Mayrand, 26 Northern Heights, Winchendon on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 1 to 3 P.M..

The family would love to hear stories about Jim.
