GARDNER – Helen D. (Pratt) Coffin, 97, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville and a former longtime resident of Gardner, died peacefully, Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville, with her family at her side.
She was born in Clinton on July 25, 1922, daughter of the late Wilmer and Lillian (Ramsdell) Pratt and was a graduate of Gardner High School. Helen lived in Gardner for most of her life.
Helen worked many years ago at L.S. Starrett Tool Company. She was a long time member of Chestnut Street United Methodist Church, where she was active on many church committees and worked many church suppers. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
Her husband, Ralph D. Coffin, died in 1991. She leaves two daughters, Brenda L. Nolan and her husband Angus of Gardner and Sheila A. Clark of Quaker Hill, CT; four grandchildren, Jay LaRoche, Jack LaRoche, Nathan Clark and Amy Clark; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
Burial will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery, Gardner.
