Glenna M. Lehtonen

TEMPLETON – Glenna M. (Morse) Lehtonen, 73, of East Templeton, died peacefully Monday morning, December 13, 2021 in Fitchburg Healthcare, Fitchburg with her family at her side.

She was born in Gardner on October 19, 1948, daughter of the late Bayard and Elsie (Erickson) Morse and was a 1966 graduate of Narragansett Regional High School.

Glenna had worked at Massachusetts Electric and later at Wironen Studios before working for years as a bookkeeper at the former Morse Electric.  She enjoyed crafts, gardening and the outdoors.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with family.  Glenna was a member and former Sunday School teacher at the former East Templeton United Methodist Church.  She was a former cub scout den mother.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She leaves her husband of 52 years, Bradley E. Lehtonen; two sons, Matthew D. Lehtonen and wife Danielle of Gardner and Andrew M. Lehtonen of East Templeton; two grandsons, Bradley Lehtonen and Mark Lehtonen; two step granddaughters, Charlotte Ares and Sydney Ares; her brothers and sisters, Barry S. Morse and companion Barbara LaGoy of Baldwinville, Janice M. Fadden of East Templeton, Susan J. Nobrega and husband Michael of Otter River and Eric C. Morse of Athol and many nephews and nieces.  A brother, Mark A. Morse, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.  Funeral services may be viewed at the following link: https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1182279

Burial will follow in Masssachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.
