Gladys Rose (LaLiberte) Heilman, 86, died Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Quabbin Valley Healthcare.
She was the wife of 17 years to the late Edward A. Heilman who died in 2006.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Patricia Erickson and her husband Keith; three grandchildren, Ashley, Kristin and Jonathan; one great-grandson, Brady all of Athol; one sister, Irene LaLiberte of Athol, Jim LaLiberte of Rindge, NH and Roger LaLiberte of Gardner and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Richard and Alice LaChance; four brothers, Frank, Hank, Bob and Skip LaLiberte.
Gladys worked at St. Vincent Hospital while going to school for her LPN; she then worked as a LPN St. Francis Nursing Home in Worcester for many years. She also worked for Joseph Leavitt Company in Milbury, MA.
She enjoyed crocheting, her cats and going to Cape Cod. Her family meant the most to her, especially her great-grandson, Brady who gave her great joy.
Her funeral services and burial will be private.
