David J. Wright

SHIRLEY - David James Wright, 46 of Shirley, formerly of Lunenburg, died unexpectedly Monday morning, May 2, 2022 in Nashoba Hospital, Ayer.

He was born in Fitchburg, MA on November 16, 1975 and grew up in Lunenburg.  He lived in Lunenburg for many years until recently moving to Shirley.

David was a self-employed carpenter.  He enjoyed boating and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves his children, David Bolton, Mickey Wright, Makayla Wright, Dominic Rhoades, Valencia Rhoades and Westley Wright and was predeceased by his son, TJ Wright.  He also leaves his mother, Cheryl Bourque and husband Stephen, his father David Wright Sr.; grandparents, Barbara Flaherty and predeceased by his maternal grandparents Walter and Carolyn Richards; brothers, Mike and William Wright, Peter Wright, Stevie and Chris Bourque; sisters, Melissa Lambert and Melissa Bourque; granddaughter Mackenzie Rocheleau; his fiance Hope Dorner and her children Marcus and Tattiana Martinez and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 4 to 8 P.M.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10 AM in Riverside Cemetery, Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
