Betty-Ann Benson

WINCHENDON - Betty-Ann (Mable) Benson, 56, of 11 Main Street, died peacefully Saturday evening, April 29, 2017 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester.

She was born in Neubrucke, Germany on December 15, 1960, daughter of the late Robert S. and Anne E. (Gormley) Mable and lived in Winchendon for most of her life.  She was a 1978 graduate of Murdock High School.

Betty-Ann had worked as a direct care counselor for the Seven Hills Foundation.  She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  Her hobbies were reading, drawing, gardening and going to the beach.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed cuddling with her dog Gordita.

She leaves two children, Liana Wilson and her fiance Brian Camber of Athol and Gage Benson of Winchendon; two grandchildren, Darien and Zayden; two brothers, Robert C. Mable and his wife Debra of Winchendon and Robert LeBlanc and his wife Cindy of Baldwinville; a sister Deborah Campbell of Gardner and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

There are no calling hours.
