WORCESTER – Alan Michael Duchaine, 64, of Worcester, died peacefully Thursday evening, December 23, 2021 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, with his family at his side.
He was born in Gardner on August 1, 1957, son of Alice M. (Doiron) Duchaine of Templeton and the late Robert C. Duchaine. Alan lived in Worcester for most of his life and attended workshops. He had been a participant in the Special Olympics.
Alan enjoyed music and dancing. Christmas was his favorite time of the year. He had also enjoyed playing cards with his late father.
In addition to his mother, he leaves a brother, Michael Alan Duchaine of Ossipee, NH; four sisters, Mary Marois and husband William of Templeton, Lillian McDaniel of NC, Barbara Bennett and Rose Barros, both of Killeen, TX; a close friend, Ricardo Pina of Worcester; many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Services will be streamed and may be viewed at: https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1184140
Burial will follow in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
