It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of William Michel. Born on December 29, 1953, in Oakdale, California, William was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who spent his life in service to his family and his passion. He passed away on February 24, 2024, leaving a legacy of love and dedication.

William, a seasoned mechanic by profession, was a man of diligence and precision. He worked with renowned automotive companies such as Big O Tires in South Lake, CA, and Brake Team in Carson City, NV. His love for vehicles extended beyond his work; he spent countless hours working on cars, hot-rods, and motorcycles, a hobby that brought him great joy. He also gave his time and skills to Lots of Love for Animals in Chloride, AZ, a testament to his kind heart and caring nature. 

William served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. 

His love for his family was apparent in everything he did. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ursula, his daughters, Heather Michel, and, Danielle (Jeff) LaPaille his step-daughter, Jessica Bergeron, and step-son, Jason White. His legacy will continue to live on through his grandchildren, Colby and Keely LaPaille. His sisters, Diana, Valerie Sims, and Michelle Werner, also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jeannette Michel.

A graveside service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm EST at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located at 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475.
