Steve Lehto, a beloved drummer, DJ, and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly on January 10th at the age of 43. Born on April 30th, 1980, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Steve lived a life filled with passion, music, and boundless kindness. Steve's magnetic personality and genuine warmth touched the hearts of all who knew him. He had a gift for making others feel special and valued, forming genuine bonds wherever he went.

Whether through his humor, his infectious laughter, or his thoughtful gestures, Steve brought joy to us all.

Despite life's challenges, Steve faced them with courage and resilience. His selflessness and bravery were evident in his actions, from saving his mother from a fire to supporting his loved ones through difficult times. To his family, Steve was a source of boundless love and support. As a father, son, uncle, brother, husband, and friend, he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Steve's love for his daughter Riff was unwavering, and he took great pride in being her father.  He was dedicated to providing for his family and supporting them through life's ups and downs. He adored his niece and nephew, Penelope and Alistair. Steve always lent an ear to their stories and took delight in witnessing their growth. His playful spirit as the "fun uncle" brought laughter and joy to them, crafting cherished memories that will be held dear forever.

To his friends, Steve was family. Your Friend Steve would accept you at your worst, try to find the best in you, and always brought the party; kindness counts as partying. Steve’s friends will forever find him in an old song, a new album, a coffee, a sugar cookie martini, or a slice of pizza.

Though Steve's time with us was too short, his impact will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in the memories we shared with Steve and the love he brought that changed our lives.

Until we meet again/dance again, may Steve rest in Peace, knowing he changed our lives for the best, that he was deeply loved, and that he will be forever missed. A celebration of Steve's life will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, Be Kind.
