Stafford L. "Bing" Knight, 83, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026. He was born on August 23, 1942, in Eastport, Maine, a place that always held a special place in his heart. He spoke often of his hometown and cherished the many visits he made there throughout his life.
Bing dedicated much of his career to Eastern Propane in Winchendon, Massachusetts, where he worked as a manager for many years. After his retirement, he continued working at Stasukelis Appliance in Gardner, Massachusetts, where he enjoyed staying active and connecting with others.
Above all else, Bing was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared 59 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Adria Knight. He is survived by his son, Rob, and his wife, Stacey. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Meagan Knight, together with Jeffrey Harriman; Logan Knight, and his wife, Samantha; and Connor Knight and his wife, Jaelynn. His grandchildren were truly the center of his world, and he found great joy in teaching them new skills, sharing his knowledge, and taking them on memorable adventures.
Bing is also survived by his brother, Ronland Knight, and his sisters, Mariam DiGirolamo and Susan Stewart. He was predeceased by his parents, Stafford and Virginia Knight.
Bing had a deep love for the ocean and could often be found deep-sea fishing, no matter the time of year. Whether on the water or at home, he found his greatest happiness in spending time with his family.
