Ruth enjoyed making all kinds of crafts for her church fairs, family and friends. She would scour many crafting catalogs and attend other craft fairs to find the right items/ideas to make. Jim would cut the wood for the items and she would paint each craft item with detail and talent - they worked as a team on every project. Ruth enjoyed her flower gardens, she had that special green thumb and could name all the flowers and how to care for them. Ruth enjoyed quilting and made many quilts for gifts for family members or donated them to the church for raffles. Ruth and Jim loved to travel. They traveled as much as possible after retirement. Ruth also loved the beach and the family would vacation in Maine yearly. Ruth loved Halloween and would dress up in a different costume every year for the trick-or-treaters.
