Robert J. Couture

WINCHENDON - Robert J. "Bob" Couture, 67, of 105 Ipswich Drive, died Saturday, July 2nd in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner. He was born in Winchendon on March 31,1938, the son of Henry and Adele M. (LaChance) Couture and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon. Bob was a blender mixer at Troy Mills in Troy, New Hampshire for 40 years until his retirement in 2000. From 1955-1959 he served in the United States Air Force. He was educated in Winchendon. He leaves his wife of 20 years, Pamela (Forrest) Couture; one brother, C. David Couture of Winchendon; two sisters, Christine C. Murdock of Winchendon and Edyth A. Raleigh of Dublin, New Hampshire, as well as nephews and nieces. Four brothers, Albert Couture, Edward Couture, Francis Couture and Alfred Couture, as well as two sisters, Lynda Couture and Irene Desmarais, predeceased him. A committal service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, July 15th in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallan Street, Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
