Robert Michael Aubrey

October 27, 1952 — June 7, 2026

Winchendon

Robert Michael Aubrey, born on October 27, 1952, in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a resident of Winchendon, Massachusetts, has been called home to the Lord. Robert, a resilient and supportive man, was a beacon of love and humor to all who knew him.

Robert was known for his funny and loving nature. He served the public by working as a Construction Inspector for the State of Massachusetts. Robert's hobbies were as varied as they were exciting. Early in his life, he was an accomplished football player in the World Football League and tried out for the New England Patriots. He was an accomplished pilot, holding a Private Pilot's License. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, took joy in carpentry, and cherished the great outdoors. His favorite outdoor activities were camping and boating on lakes and the ocean. Living on Lake Monomonac, Robert found peace in the simplicity and beauty of nature. He was a man of faith, finding strength and solace in the teachings of the Catholic Church. As said in 1 Corinthians 16:14, "Let all that you do be done in love," Robert made this verse the meaning of his life.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife, Cindy Aubrey; his sons, Christopher and Robert Aubrey jr., and his sister Janis Diamond of Sterling. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Doris Aubrey, his sister Carol, and his beloved daughter, Lynn Aubrey, to whom he devoted so much of his love and care.

Calling hours will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Spruce Street in Winchendon, from 9 AM-11 AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. A funeral mass will follow at 11:30 AM.

The family encourages you to leave your memories and upload photos of Robert to his memorial page. As we remember Robert, let us celebrate his life, his love, and his unwavering faith. His legacy of resilience, support, humor, and love will forever be engraved in our hearts and minds.
