TEMPLETON - Richard J. Robillard, 71, of Baldwinville, died peacefully Saturday morning, April 9, 2022 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
He was born in Gardner on January 13, 1951, son of the late Wilfred J. Robillard and Marjorie Barbara (Feltman) Burgess and was a lifelong resident of Baldwinville. Rich was a 1969 graduate of Narragansett Regional High School, where he was Class President his last two years of high school. During high school, he was a member of its drama club, varsity baseball team and National Honor Society He graduated from Westfield State College in 1973 and earned his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Worcester State College.
Rich managed Section 8 Rural Housing in Winchendon for many years and also did private counseling. An avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Rich was a semi-pro baseball umpire for many years. A master of trivia, Rich possessed a great sense of humor and was a movie buff. A member of New Hope Bible Chapel of Templeton, he loved his Bible and sharing God’s word.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Monika A. (DiPerrio) Robillard; a daughter Rebeka Robillard; a brother William J. Robillard, all of Baldwinville and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 4 to 6 P.M. Thursday in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Funeral services will follow Thursday at 6 P.M. in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
