Raymond A. Podesta (August 26, 1956 - January 17, 2025)
Ray passed away peacefully Friday January 17, 2025. He was born in Monongahela, PA and moved to Holden MA, where he grew up. He resided in Winchendon MA for 21 years with his wife Dawn. Ray was an endoscopy technician prior to retirement and served as an EMT saving people’s lives. Ray loved his dogs Apollo, Artemis and Quwyn, and his two cats Milo and Lucy.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Dawn Bilodeau-Podesta, step-daughter Hollie Fredette, grand-children Jaxon and Abel Fredette, step-son Cole Bilodeau-Stacy, Mother-in-law Gail Miskowski and father-in-law Peter Bilodeau. He leaves a son Raymond, former wife Deborah, sister Patti and brothers Charles and Brian. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by mother and father Lois and Raymond Podesta, and brother Bradley.
Ray fought tough after a series of strokes. He was an inspiration to all of us the way he fought and worked to regain strength and stability. Through it all, he never lost his wry humor and loved engaging with his HAM radio and Facebook friends immensely as well as Boston Bruins and New England Patriots.
