Randall S. Brandeberry

PHILLIPSTON – Randall S. “Randy” Brandeberry, 55, of Phillipston, died peacefully Sunday evening, March 24, 2019, with his wife at his side, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston after a heroic fight against cancer for six years.

He was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 16, 1963 and grew up in North Andover, MA.  Randy graduated from North Andover High School and Lowell University in 1984.  Since graduation, he worked at Raytheon Corporation for 34 years as a senior electrical engineer until recently.

Randy was active in the Phillipston community as a coach in Narragansett recreational sports, coaching TeeBall, softball, baseball, soccer and basketball.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He leaves his wife of 25 years, Joanne (Carignan) Brandeberry; four children, Kathleen M. Brandeberry, Rebecca M. Brandeberry, Robert J. Brandeberry and Jennifer M. Brandeberry, all of Phillipston; his parents Ronald and Beneta Brandeberry of Aiken, SC; a brother Ronald G. Brandeberry II of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Julie A. Stroop of Laveen, AZ and five nephews.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 4 to 7 P.M.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2 P.M. in Phillipston Congregational Church, Phillipston Common.

A trust has been set up at Athol Savings Bank for memorial donations for the Brandeberry children with Joanne Brandeberry trustee.
