Ralph Richard Martin

Winchendon-Ralph Richard Martin, 74, died Friday, February 24, 2023, at Heywood Hospital after an illness. 

He leaves his daughter, Donna Martin and her partner, Chris Fleury of Leominster; one granddaughter, Lauren Fleury of Leominster; one brother, Ronald Martin of Winchendon; two nieces, Kathy Wheeler, and Susan Sawyer, and one nephew, Peter Martin. 

He was born in Gardner on May 17, 1948, a son of the late Joseph and Toini (Hakkinen) Martin. He was a 1967 graduate of Murdock High School. He worked for Simplex for many years. 

He was a true car enthusiast, he loved to tinker with cars and enjoyed carpentry. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA. 

His burial will be in the spring in the Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon, MA
