Patricia M. Wilber

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Patricia Margaret (LaFosse) Wilber on January 23, 2024. Born in Fitchburg, MA, on October 16, 1944, Patricia was a beacon of light and warmth to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Affectionately known as the owner and operator of Pat's Poodle Parlor, her boundless love for animals was evident in her daily life and work. Her home was not just a place of business, but a sanctuary where she nurtured and cared for the pets entrusted to her. 

Patricia, a lifelong resident of Templeton, spread joy and positivity wherever she went. Her love for life was contagious, and her laughter was a melody that still echoes in our hearts. She was a faithful attendee of the Chair City Church in Gardner and a former member of Bethany Baptist Church and Higher Ground Ministries. Patricia loved going out to eat and her favorite delight was ice cream, a testament to her sweet and joyful spirit.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Carl Wilber, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Paulette Adams,  Christine Smith and her husband Donald, Cheryl Wilber, and Carl F. Wilber, Jr. ; three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren  She was preceded in death by her brother, David LaFosse; parents, Armand and Margaret LaFosse; and husband, Carl Wilber.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, from 5:00 -7:00 PM.  Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Bethany Baptist Church, 72 Ryan Street, Gardner, Massachusetts, at 10:00 AM. Patricia will be laid to rest at the Green Bower Cemetery, 101 Winter Street, Gardner, Massachusetts, at 10:45 AM.
