Norma R Herk

Fitzwilliam, NH-Norma R. (Menard) Herk, 83, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 22, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of 53 years to the late, Onnie Herk, who passed away on July 20, 2021.
She leaves her daughter, Trudi (Hurst) Ackerman, and her husband Andrew of Northfield; her two beloved grandchildren, Julianna Ackerman and Jared Ackerman, both of Northfield and her niece, Doreen Potter who was like a daughter, along with other nieces and nephews.
She was born in Winchendon on May 29, 1939, the daughter of the late Arthur Joseph and Rose Emerentienne (Baril) Menard. She was a graduate of Murdock High School.
She worked for New Hampshire Ball Bearing, as an Inspector for many years prior to her retirement.  
Norma enjoyed golfing, walking, shopping, and playing cards with her friends. Norma also loved to travel, especially to Florida. She truly loved cooking, and baking for her family. Her greatest joy came from her two grandchildren.
A service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, at (stjude.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
