Muriel was a dedicated mother, an unwavering pillar of support, and a beacon of love and dedication to her family. Her love for her family was the centrifugal force that kept her going, a testament to her unwavering dedication and commitment. Muriel is survived by her children Linda Green, Frank (Marie) McKinnon, and Bruce (Lois) Reed. She was fortunate enough to watch grow and enjoy 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Garnett, her husband John Galvin, her daughter Ida Mckinnon, and 2 great grandsons Carter Veilleux and Augostino Ravesi as well as her siblings Charles, James, Madolyn, Millie, and Helen.

Muriel's life will be celebrated at the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., Winchendon. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00-5:00 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10:00 am, in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, followed by burial at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475, at 11:00 am.
