Marlene Ruth (Cutting) Adams, born January 29, 1956, found peace on August 14, 2020, after a long battle with diabetes and liver disease. She joins her husband of 27 years, Richard Adams, their souls reunited at last. She was 64 years old.
A devoted follower of Christ, she was a member of Bethany Bible Chapel in Winchendon. After many years as a faithful employee at Simplex, Marlene returned to higher education and graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2006. She had previously worked for several years at Ray Plastics.
Marlene had a passion for reading and spent much of her life with a book in hand. She also loved to sew, crochet and make jewelry in her spare time. From a family who loved to sing, music filled her with joy and brought her much peace. Marlene treasured time spent surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Adam R. Adams and his wife Natasha of Athol, and her daughters, Naomi Dunton and her partner Douglas Hoyt of Fitchburg, Crystal Adams of Winchendon, and Tracey Davies and her husband Mark of Westhoughton, England. She leaves a legacy of 14 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 brothers, Richard, Robert, Randall, Ronald, and Rodney Cutting, as well as a sister, Marilyn Mercier. She is predeceased by her brother, Roger. She will be greatly missed by her countless nieces and nephews, as well as her 2 honorary daughters, Tara Pelkey and Amy Doucette, both of Gardner, all of whom she loved dearly.
A Celebration of her Life will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 6 P.M. in Bethany Bible Chapel, 727 Spring Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
