Margarita M. Lamorie

Winchendon-Margarita M. Lamorie, 85, died Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Heywood Hospital after an illness.

She was the wife of the late Marshall E. Lamorie, who died on July 8, 2009.

Margarita leaves two sons, Carlito Marcial in Las Vegas Nevada and Antonio Marcial and his wife Lilibeth of Winchendon; two daughters, Pacita Javien and her husband Marcelo in Winchendon and Crisabeth Shearer and her husband Joshua of Health MA;  thirteen grandchildren, Xian Jayden Marcial, Maria Mae Javien , Theresa Javien , Kathlien Javien, Kathlena Javien, Christine Mae Marcial, Chriza Mae Marcial, Christian Carl Marcial, Nathalie Espejo, Danilo Estrella Jr., Edwin Estrella and Zoey Mae Shearer.

She was born in Manila, Philippines, on September 18, 1937. She worked in several nursing homes in Greenfield. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFS in Shelburne Falls. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. They took weekend trips and enjoyed going out to different restaurants. They traveled to many different states and countries.  

Margarita was a very friendly lady who enjoyed people. 

She was very helpful in assisting her family to come to the United States. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00 - 9:00 pm. In the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475. 

There will be a prayer service held at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Her burial will be on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the West Branch Cemetery, Colrain, MA.
