Lionel J. Arsenault

It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of Lionel Arsenault, on Thursday, December 21, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Born on November 9, 1926, in Rumford, ME,  he later moved to Templeton, MA, where he built a life and raised his family.

He leaves behind his daughters, Lisa Cameron-Scott of Baldwinville and Donna Arsenault Lee and her husband Bruce of Contoocook, NH. Lionel also leaves behind his beloved granddaughters and their families,  Maggie Cameron and her significant other Vuthy Im and their son Jax Montana Im of Putnam, CT, and Molly Litty and her husband Jared and their children Norah Jane and Oliver Lionel of Zeeland, MI. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn "Cushie", his 3 brothers, Cam, Ivan and Joe, and his 2 sisters Albertine and Evelyn.

Lionel was a man with an infectious sense of humor, a generous spirit, and a loving family man. He worked at Temple Stuart Co. for 30 years and retired from the US Postal Service after 20 years. Away from work, Lionel embraced the outdoors, enjoying skiing, camping, and frequent trips to York Beach, Maine. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family, as they were what mattered most to him. Lionel's life was full of love, laughter, and countless memorable moments.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Lionel's remarkable life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 10:00am at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 11:00am.
