Laura Marston Moore Hardy, born November 27, 1953, in Washington D.C., passed away on July 18, 2025 Laura Died peacefully in her Husbands arms, in the privacy of her own home.

Laura Known for her infectious laughter, Laura was a beacon of light in a sometimes dark world. Her generous spirit, loving nature, and quick wit made her a joy to be around. It was her intelligence, however, that set her apart. She was as sharp as a tack and could solve a crossword puzzle faster than anyone we knew. In the words of Albert Einstein, "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination," and Laura had plenty of both.

Laura's love story with her husband, James Hardy, was something out of a soap opera - full of passion, drama, and a deep, unyielding love. The couple got together in 2000 and married on April 15, 2023, and their love for each other was palpable. Laura's caring nature extended beyond her husband to her beloved pets and the home they made together in Winchendon, Massachusetts. Laura retired from American Express in 1998, but she never stopped working. She poured her energy into her loveing husband, her home, her pets, and her love for reading and puzzles.

Her sense of humor was infectious, her generosity knew no bounds, and her love was as deep as the ocean. Laura was a unique individual who touched the lives of everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, James Hardy, and two sisters Marika Cutler, and Jenny Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, George Moore, and her mother, Marika Daugherty.

Maya Angelou once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel," and Laura made everyone feel loved and appreciated. Let us remember her for the laughter, love, and light she brought into our lives.
