John J. Farren

John Joseph Farren (Tiny) 54, formerly of Baldwinville MA, Westwood MA. passed away suddenly, Monday, February 13,2023 at his home in Myrtle Beach S.C.

John (Tiny) was the son of the late Barney and Betty Farren. John is survived by his wife Charlene Rasmussen Farren of 33 years. His Children Jason Carter, Jennifer Cormier and husband Mike, Holly McNaught, Amanda Farren (Sean Normandin), Kristen Farren and Robert Farren, His late son John Joseph Farren Jr, the late Triplets, John, Richard, and Charles, Grandchildren, Crystal, Cole, Nicole, Noah, Jalynn, Sean, Bella and Shane. Also survived by his sisters Patty and Peggy Farren of Westwood and his late Brother Barney.

John was known for his big heart and loved by so many. John was a jack of all trades and a master of mechanics, he cherished old vehicles, and could get anything running because he felt “It’s a Gem” and “It’s not for sale”. John retired from Millwrights Local 1121 where he worked side by side with his late father, brother and the Farren Cousins. Many of his Millwright friends are considered our family. John touched many lives and will be remembered by his kind heart and sense of humor; he could make a bad situation become manageable. John’s smile and laughter was addictive and would brighten any room. He could bring so many people together by throwing a “Clam Chowder Party” in the garage! John cherished his friends, family and all his cousins. John always praised himself that he still had the best friends a man could ever have from Pine Hill Elementary and Blue Hill Region High School. John would always say, “How many people do you know that can say that?”. “I am a lucky guy”. But it is We that are the Lucky ones!

Calling hours will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm at the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon Ma 01475

Funeral service will be held Saturday , February 25 2023 at  9:00a.m. at Stone Ladeau Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery 39 Bridge Street Baldwinville MA.
