Jeffrey Lawrence Sylvia, 60, joined his loved ones in heaven on Wednesday, June 10th. He passed away in the arms of his beloved wife and best friend due to heart failure.

Jeff graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1984, then went on to study Website Design at Clark University. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing guitar and participated in many school sports. He loved volunteering at the local church, delivering food to the needy. His volunteering efforts still carried on until his very last days, any chance he could for friends, family, and neighbors.

He went on to work at Simonds Industries, where he was recognized as a top Regional salesperson. He worked for several other companies in the steel industry before moving on to a landscaping business.

For many years, he enjoyed playing ice hockey and was passionate about the Boston Bruins. He made many great friendships with the men in the hockey league. Jeff was also an extreme lover of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, enjoying many great times with family and friends at games, even hosting a yearly ‘Super Bowl Turkey dinner’.

In 2009, Jeff formed a worldwide podcast called ‘ParaRock TV’, an online variety show that included current events and comedy, filmed with his wife. He had the opportunity to interview many celebrities and sports figures over the years. He then shared his knowledge for many years with the staff at Leominster TV, producing numerous local TV shows and introducing equipment and technology at the studio that had never been used before. He was given an award for his efforts.

Jeff enjoyed spending countless hours on his boat on Lake Monomonac, reflecting and enjoying sunsets. He shared these moments with people, often on social media. Another outdoor favorite of his was riding ATVs with his wife Shannon amongst other friends, even metal detecting in the woods.

Jeff's biggest passion, however, is for his two rescue dogs, Maybelline and Tater. He formed a myriad of memories with the dogs. His second passion was traveling the world with his soulmate, making new memories, experiencing food and culture, and living life to the fullest.

With his advanced heart disease, he inspired thousands of people from all over the world with his social media posts about true love, being grateful, and enjoying every day as if it's our last. His favorite quote was, “We are not here for a long time, but we're here for a good time!”.

He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Shannon Sylvia of Winchendon; his loving parents, Joseph and Betty Sylvia of Palm Desert, California; his brother, David and his wife Anthonette, as well as his nephew and Godson, Steven, of Los Feliz, California.

His mother-in-law, Laura Casey, of Leominster; sister-in-law, Megan Casey, and his niece Gianna Quinn of Leominster, his brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Tammy Sontag, of Townsend; and a niece and nephew, Caitlin and Christopher Sontag.

He also leaves behind his father-in-law, Richard Sontag, and his wife, Donna, of Leominster.

Jeff also had many cousins in the Massachusetts area that he loved.

Jeff's wishes were to have a Celebration of Life that will be scheduled in the future.
