TEMPLETON – Jacqueline L. (Crosier) Knowlan Eurell, 83, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, November 24th in Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, with her family at her side.
She was born in New York City New York on August 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline (Chapman) Crosier, and had lived in Baldwinville for eight years.
Jacqueline graduated from W.C. Mepham High School in Bellmore, New York. From 1971 to 1989, she worked for Bank of the Hamptons, becoming Bank Manager. She later worked for the Bank of New York as Bank Manager from 1990 to 1996. She was a trustee of the American Institute of Banking. In later years, she continued her education by taking courses in banking.
For many years, she was a very dedicated member of Montauk Community Church on Long Island. She held many offices, including deacon, elder, clerk of session, Sunday School teacher and Treasurer. Every Sunday she arranged flowers for church services for many years. She was a faithful choir member. In July of 2003, she moved to Baldwinville, where she attended Memorial Congregational Church. Jacqueline enjoyed traveling, and even traveled twice to Cuba as a mission committee member. An avid bowler, she attended many local, state and national tournaments.
She leaves six daughters, Jacquelyn “Pat” Cidlowski and her husband Joel of Montauk, NY, Barbara A. Woodbury and her husband George of Baldwinville, Susan Hupka of Pasadena, MD, Carol Ganter and her husband Richard of Monson, Deborah Leger and her husband Ariste of Riverview, NB Canada and Christine Sontag and her partner Mark Palombo of Leominster; three sons, James Knowlan and his wife Joanne of Montauk, NY, Edward Eurell and his wife Theresa of Montauk, NY and Michael Eurelland his wife Lynn of Palmyra, VA; two sisters, Maryann Schill and her husband Ted of Tobaccoville, NC and Joan Waltherand her husband Allen of Bellmore, NY; one brother, Robert Crosier and his wife Cynthia of Cornelius, NC; 15 grandchildren, two step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, two adopted grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. A son, Gerald Knowlan, two grandsons Jason Woodbury and Jon Cidlowski and a sister, Madeline Waltz predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 3rd at 11 AM in Memorial Congregational Church, 4 Memorial Street, Baldwinville. The Rev. Robert Johansen will officiate.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville.
