It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Glenn J "Butch" Dellasanta, born on June 4, 1945, in Fitchburg, MA, and a lifelong resident of Winchendon. He was a proud 1963 graduate of Murdock High School. Glenn was known for his hard work and dedication, serving over 30 years as a loader and truck driver for Mass Highway and Willard Brook. His love for his community extended beyond his profession, as he was an active member of the Winchendon Golf Club and the Clark Memorial.
Glenn was an avid sports enthusiast, passionately cheering for New England sports teams. He also enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family, especially during his grandchildren's sporting events. Glenn is survived by his son Antonio Dellasanta, daughter Nikki Adams and her husband Gary, grandchildren Primo Dellasanta, Samantha Adams, Angelina Dellasanta, and brother Louis Dellasanta, and his wife "Mickey"; two nephews, Mark Dellasanta and Erik Dellasanta, and many cousins.. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oddo and Virginia Dellasanta.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the same location. His burial will be in the spring due to the Cemetery being closed for the winter.
