With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of George P. Ouellette on June 18, 2026. A loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and friend, George was born on September 3, 1948, in Concord, NH to the late Edward and Yvette (St. Hilaire) Ouellette.
After graduation from Berlin High School, George enrolled in the US Army for 4 years. He had many adventurous stories to tell from his time overseas, from driving on the Autobahn in Germany to seeing Janis Joplin in concert while there. George was known for his charismatic charm and smart wit, which he used generously to brighten the lives of all those around him. He never met a sport or a book he didn't enjoy and passed down those traits to his kids and grandkids.
He dedicated many years of his life to Schleuniger in Manchester, NH, where he served as a Parts Warehouse Manager before his retirement. His commitment to his work was second only to his unwavering love and devotion to his family and God. His faith was a beacon in his life, guiding him through every challenge and success. George attended Christian Life Fellowship, where he continued to worship and grow spiritually, highlighting his deep commitment to his faith.
George was a resident of Winchendon, Massachusetts, but his journey through life also led him to call Manchester and Berlin, NH, where he grew up, his home. His love of family was the cornerstone of his life, a love he shared generously and without reserve. He leaves behind his wife, Gaynor, his daughter, Michelle, and son, Michael. He also has two grandchildren, Sydney and Connor, who will forever cherish his memory. He was pre-deceased by his parents, his brother, Michael, and his first wife, June.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life on August 2, 2026, starting at Noon, at Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown, NH. Everyone is welcome.
We invite all who knew George to celebrate his life by sharing memories, thoughts, and pictures on his memorial page. Your contributions will help keep his spirit alive and provide comfort to those who loved him dearly.
Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA. is assisting with arrangements.
