Gail M. Johnson

Gail M. (Wilson ) Johnson, born October 13, 1955 passed away peacefully at home on Aug 14, 2025 after a battle with cancer. 

She was the daughter of the late Ruel and Doris Wilson a long-time resident of Fitchburg.  She was the wife to the late Allan J. Johnson of Fitchburg who died July 8, 2020. 

Gail leaves two children, Tessie A. Wilson of Fitchburg and Eric M. Johnson and his wife Sara J. Johnson of Leominster; three grandchildren, Zachary T. Johnson of Athol , Megan E. Johnson of Fitchburg, and Adam C. Johnson of Leominster; three great-grandchildren, Alayna A. Johnson of Ashburnham , Paisley R. Johnson of Ashburnham and Jaxson A. Johnson of Athol; her sisters, Diane Somers of Gardner, Mary Morrison of Fitchburg and brother David Wilson of Fitchburg.

Gail was predeceased by her brothers, Ralph LeBlanc of Westminster, Lester Wilson of Fitchburg as well as her sister Barbara Watkins of Phillipston. 

Gail enjoyed visiting the White Mountains in New Hampshire, listening to her late husband playing his guitar while performing country music at local jam sessions, she loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially around the holidays.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
