Frederick Erwin White

Frederick Erwin White, born on August 16, 1941, in the quiet town of York, Maine, passed away on December 13, 2023, in his home with his family around him. He made Templeton his home where he lived a life steeped in faith and service to his community. A devout member of the Cornerstone Church Assembly of God in Winchendon, Frederick taught Bible Study and shared his love for God's word with many. His faith was his compass, guiding him throughout his life. As it is written in the book of Matthew, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Frederick's light shone brightly, illuminating the path for all who knew him.

A Custodian by trade, Frederick spent his professional life in various capacities, including roles at Cushing Academy and the former Gardner Savings Bank. His diligence and commitment were well-recognized, but his true passion lay in service. He volunteered at the Templeton Food Pantry, ensuring his neighbors never went hungry. In his retirement, he dedicated even more of his time to these pursuits, embodying the scripture, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." Frederick is survived by his children, Wanda Goodwin, Eric White, and Shawn White; grandchildren, Zach, Tyler, Dominic, and Samuel White; great-granddaughters, Freya and Korra White; his brother, Franky White, and sister, Judy Gentry and her husband, Bill. Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Frankie and Grace White; his beloved wife, Arlene (Swanson) White, and their son Hermann White

The family will receive friends at the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home,  343 Central Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
