Francis X. Pavlosky

June 7, 1941 — July 22, 2025

Ennis, TX

Francis Xavier Pavlosky, known affectionately as Frank, was born on June 7, 1941, in Gardner, Massachusetts. Francis passed away on July 22, 2025, in his residence in Ennis, Texas.

He lived a meaningful and fulfilling life, interspersed with love, laughter, and warm memories. A devout Catholic, Francis lived his life in accordance with the teachings of the Church, guided by the verse from the Book of Proverbs, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

Francis was a devoted family man, and nothing mattered to him more than his loved ones. He was a retired lithography technician, having served the printing industry with diligence and passion at Butler Automatic. His retirement years were filled with simple pleasures like fishing, a hobby he particularly enjoyed sharing with his grandson, Kyle. Francis’ love for dogs was well-known, and he found great joy in spending time with his great-granddaughter, Brynn. He was a proud Marine, and his service to his country is to be admired and remembered.

Francis is survived by his loving daughters, Sharon Rodgers and Peggy Mirich; his siblings, Lyn Scerra, Arnold Pavlosky, and Rawlin Pavlosky; his son-in-law, Michael Rodgers; and his cherished grandchildren, Kyle Nelson and Kelsey Evatt. He was also a doting great-grandfather to Brynn Hunnicutt and Iris Evatt. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, John and Angeline Pavlosky, and his siblings, John Pavlosky, David Pavlosky, and Gwendolyn Wheeler.

In the words of Saint Francis of Assisi, “Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” Francis lived his life with this principle, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.

We encourage friends and family of Francis to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page at www.stone-ladeau.com. He will forever be remembered and his story kept alive through your shared experiences and reflections.
