Evelyn "Gail" Goodwin, born on April 1, 1935, in Boston, MA, spent her life nurturing those around her, both humans and animals alike. Evelyn's compassion was evident in everything she did, from caring for stray animals to her love for the outdoors, flowers, and bird watching. Her home in Templeton, Massachusetts, became a haven for these animals, a testament to her boundless love and care. An oasis of tranquility and beauty, it was a place where Evelyn found immense joy, and it reflected her vibrant spirit.
As much as she loved her animals, it was her family that mattered the most to Evelyn. She was a steadfast pillar of support and love for her daughters, Paula Delateli, and her husband, Joe; Linda Hecker and her husband, Harold; Judith Shepardson and her husband, John, and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, William and Dorothy Peacock, and her beloved husband, James Goodwin, whose loss she bore with grace and resilience.
Evelyn's life was a testament to her compassionate spirit, a beacon of love and care that will continue to inspire and guide her family. Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
