WINCHENDON - Eleanor J. (Millett) Hart, 75, of 65 School Street, Winchendon died Friday, September 9th in the UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester following an illness. She was born in Worcester on May 15,1930, the daughter of Robert M. and Hilve (Yngve) Millett and had resided in Winchendon for eight years. Eleanor was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester with the class of 1947. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Worcester, and enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, cooking, gardening and birds. Eleanor leaves her husband of 56 years, Leonard L. Hart of Winchendon; two sons, Richard L. Hart and his wife Linda M. of Worcester, and Donald P. Hart and his wife Susan J. of Winchendon; two daughters, Karen M. Vincent and her husband, Jack A. of Gardner, and Sandra J. Hart and her life partner, Cindy Lavallee of Worcester; a sister, Frances Chakour of Auburn; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14th at 1 PM in the United Parish Church, 39 Front Street. The Rev. F. Calvin Miller, pastor, will officiate. Private burial will take place in the Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. Calling hours in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, will be Tuesday, September 13th from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Blood Services, N.E.
