GARDNER – Edward P. Leduc, 81, of 89 Fairlawn Avenue, died Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, with his family at his side.
Eddie was born on September 25, 1944, in Lowell, MA. Eddie was a funny and generous man; he was always ready to share a silly remark to lighten the mood. He had a knack of making people laugh.
Eddie was a hardworking man, dedicated to his profession as a Die Cutter, retiring from Seaboard Folding Box Company in Fitchburg, MA.
Eddie lived in N. Chelmsford for over 48 years. After his illness with dementia, he moved to Gardner, Massachusetts, where he lived for 3 years before he spent a brief time at the Westborough Healthcare long-term care facility.
Eddie had a passion for ten-pin bowling and was proud of the many trophies that he won. Eddie most loved going to the beach, spending time with his family, camping, and making memories with his grandchildren. As they grew the stories, his laughter and the value that he gave them will carry on forever in their hearts. His wisdom and love will forever guide their steps in life.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Donna Leduc; his daughter, Tina Santos and husband, Guy of Winchendon; his son, Ed Leduc (JR) and wife Kristin of Wrentham; and his family members Tammy Doherty and Mike Terrio of Billerica. He leaves a legacy of love to his grandchildren, Kassandra Santos, Madelyn Santos, Dexter Leduc, and Chris Noel; his step-grandson, Joey Jardine, and wife Natalie of Dracut; and his siblings, Roger Leduc, Jeannette Cody, and Sue Bates. And several nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom he loved dearly, and his extended family of his adopted children, whom he called his own.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Leduc Sr. and Lorraine Landry; his siblings, Paul Leduc and Lorraine Fleury; family member John Terrio; and grandson Kwin Noel.
We kindly encourage friends and family to share memories, photos, and stories on Eddie's memorial page. Your tributes will serve as a comforting reminder of the wonderful man that he was.
