Dorothy A. Bosworth

Dorothy A. Bosworth, 95, died Friday, January 16, 2026 at her beloved West Street home. She leaves her children, Robert Bosworth, daughter-in-law Carol Bosworth, Lucinda Priest, son-in-law David R. Priest, Lana Fred, son-in-law Michael Fred, and Gary Bosworth. She leaves behind three grandchildren, David M. Priest, Sara Priest Consalvo, and Scott Bosworth. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 78 years Myles Bosworth, she was also predeceased by her oldest granddaughter, Lynn (Bosworth) Higgins. She also leaves behind ten great grandchildren; Makenna, Madigan, Ross, Zachary, Olivia, Spencer, Shelby, Jocelyn, Jared, Jordan, along with one great-great grandson Hunter and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is predeceased by her eight siblings. Albert, Alfred, Annabelle, Clifford, Delma, Flora, Raymond, and Walter. She was born in Winchendon, MA on April 15, 1930, daughter of the late Wilfrid and Clarinda (Lafond) Plouffe. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Winchendon. Dot loved to keep her house warm and inviting. Her pies were delicious and she knew everyone’s favorite. She enjoyed company and always had the cookie jar ready for the kids. Her family is so fortunate for the wonderful memories and would like to thank Gardner VNA as well as her caretakers for their continued support.
