Dolores "Tootsie" (Agnelli) Garno, 88, of Winchendon, MA, died Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, surrounded by family.

She was born in Gardner on February 21, 1938, a daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Viola (Caisse) Agnelli, and attended Gardner schools. She was the wife of the late Richard Garno, Sr.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Lisa Nelson, and her husband, Kim of Winchendon; her son, Richard Garno, Jr and his wife, Sue of Winchendon; eight grandchildren, Michelle Gonynor and her husband, Robert, Arthur Nelson, Georgiana Garno, Molly Garno, Chad Rose and wife Kiana, Laurey Bennett and husband Jonathan, Timothy Rose, and Chasity Chandler; fourteen great-grandchildren, Ella Nelson, Ziva Follis, Kimber Gonynor and her daughter Amilia, Nolan Gonynor, Sage Gonynor, Fletcher Gonynor, Ryan Anderson, Alex Dekker, Logan Anderson, Jonathan Bennett, Jayden Rose, Kaleb Rose, Bailey Chandler, and Rachel Rose; two sisters and two brothers, Victoria Kirouac of Fitchburg MA, James Agnelli and Angeline Charbonneau of Winchendon, and Gary Agnelli and his wife Ruth of Jupiter FL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is also predeceased by a daughter, Debra Garno, four brothers, and one sister, Thomas Agnelli, Richard Agnelli, Joseph Agnelli, Joanne Kuehl, and Larry Agnelli.

She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, playing cards, dominoes, spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking for her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Greater Gardner Association of Retarded Citizens Inc.

Funeral services will be private.

The Stone Ladeu Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475, has been entrusted with Dolores' care.
