Dennis S. Mierzejewski

September 27, 1941 — April 3, 2019

WINCHENDON- Dennis S. Mierzejewski, of 50 Old Centre, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, April 3 2019 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after being stricken ill at home.

He was born in Gardner on September 27, 1941, son of the late Steven Mierzejewski and Florence (Storm) Mierzejewski and graduated from Gardner High School. Dennis had lived in Winchendon for the past several years.

Dennis worked as a printer in the Concord area for several years. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964. A lover of animals, Dennis had donated to several different charities such as Save the Whales. He also enjoyed writing poetry and had several of his poems published in various books.

He leaves his three sons, Scott Mallozzi, Randall Mierzejewski, and Craig Mierzejewski all of Fitchburg;

A grandson, Robert Mierzejewski of Fitchburg; a great-grandson, Clayton Mierezejewski of Fitchburg.

Military funeral services will be held Thursday April 11 2019 at 2PM in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name
