WINCHENDON - Courtney Ann Carton, 23 of Brown Street, died unexpectedly June 7, 2017.
She was born in Baltimore, MD on August 11, 1993, daughter of Jerry and Carole (Sacks) Carton of Winchendon, and moved to Winchendon at the age of 8. Courtney was a 2011 graduate of Murdock High School and 2015 graduate of Franklin Pierce College. She was currently enrolled in post graduate studies at Smith College and was scheduled to receive her Master's degree this summer. Her plans and aspirations were to be a social worker.
In addition to her parents, she leaves brothers, Andy Carton and his wife Meghan of Washington DC and Michael Carton and his daughter Autumn of Boston; his grandparents, Buddy and Jean Carton of Baltimore; an aunt Cheryl Carton of Baltimore; an uncle Richard and Jeanette Kaufman of Cherry Hill, NJ and cousins Ben and his wife Nicole, Hannah and Molly.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Inanna Arthen will officiate.
