Charles H. Bickford, born July 26, 1934, in Templeton, passed away peacefully. Charles dedicated over 35 years of his career to Adams Printing, where he worked in shipping and receiving. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in a job well done.
He was proud of his service in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany as a truck driver delivering food and supplies to troops. He found great joy outside of work in the things he loved most-riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, antique car shows, and traveling with friends to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, for car shows twice a year. He was a lifetime member of the Ridgely Club and one of the founders of the Snowbound Club. These passions reflected his adventurous spirit and his outgoing personality, making lots of friends along the way.
Charles is survived by his children: Kim Basso and her husband Tony, Randy Bickford, Kelly Beauregard, and Kathy Pervier. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Dustin Beauregard (Chery), Tyler Beauregard (Cindy), Joshua Beauregard, Amanda Shea (Brian), and Brandon Pervier (Jessica), and his great-grandchildren: Chase, Lacey, Callie, Ashlynn, Madyson, Brileigh, Darrien, and Kyler. He also leaves his long-time companion, Sue Sini, as well as his nephew Allan Jeleniewski and his niece Lori Keith.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bertha (Blake) and Herbert Bickford, and his sisters Florence Jeleniewski and her husband Richard, his sister Evelyn Bickford, his sons-in- laws Timothy Beauregard and Donald Pervier.
