Charlene R. (Hill) Casavant

WINCHENDON – Charlene R. (Hill) Casavant, 69, of 332 Front Street, Winchendon died peacefully Monday morning, September 19 th at her residence.
She was born in Union, S.C. on October 24, 1941, the daughter of Theo and Nelma (Janti) Hill and lived in Winchendon for most of her life. She was a graduate of Murdock High School.
Charlene attended Cornerstone Church of the Assemblies of God and enjoyed taking rides and going out to eat with her husband. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
She leaves her son, Eric Casavant of Winchendon; three daughters, Lee Grincewicz of Winchendon, Donna Hussing of Enfield, CT and JoAnn Underwood of Enfield, CT; her husband Eugene L. Casavant of Winchendon; her brothers, Donald Hill of Troy, NH, Philip Hill of Naples, FL, Roy Hill of VT, David Hill of Marlborough, George Hill of Phoenix, AZ and James Hill of Troy; her sisters, Dorothy Lupien of Rindge, NH, Corliss Gaudet and Donna Hill, both of Corpus Christi, TX. She was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Gendron and a brother, Robert Hill.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24 th at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Pastor Jay Lillie will officiate. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
