Catherine E. Taft

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Catherine Elizabeth Taft, who departed from this world on April 19, 2026, enveloped by the love of her family. Born on June 7, 1949, in Winchendon, Massachusetts, Catherine's life was a testament to resilience, a love for life, and a deep commitment to her family and community. 

Her spirit was as vibrant as the colorful gardens she tenderly cared for, her crocheted creations embodied her meticulous attention and love for detail.Catherine was a steadfast worker, dedicating her life and career to the Ball Bearing Manufacturing industry, where she served for many years at Millapore. 

Her dedication and commitment to her work were admirable, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to work with her. Outside of work, Catherine was a woman of many passions. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, like spending a sunny afternoon gardening or crocheting beautiful pieces to gift her loved ones. 

Her love for animals was profound, and her home was always a sanctuary for the pets she adored.While Catherine was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jim and Louise Brewer, and her beloved husband, Lawrence Taft, her legacy continues to be cherished by her son, Joshua and his wife, Jennifer; her daughter, Sarah and her husband James; and her five grandsons, who were the apples of her eye. Catherine's love, laughter, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
