Catherine L. Legault

Catherine L. (Russell) Legault, 85, died Monday, April 28, 2025 at Alliance Health at Baldwinville.

She was the wife of the late F. Donald Legault, Sr. who died in 2020.

Catherine was born in Queens, New York on December 15, 1939, a daughter of the late Philip and Eleanor (Honan) Russell. She worked as a secretary for Starrett Tool Mfg.

Catherine leaves her seven children, Catherine A. Legault, Diana L. Legault, Michael R. Legault, Paul J. Legault, Russell P. Legault and his wife Lorrie A, Annette M. Legault, Leo A. Legault and his wife Laurie, 14 grandchildren, Alan R Arsenault, Jamie M. Arsenault, Corey S. Legault, David Legault and his wife Karri, Keith Michaud, Garrick R. Legault, Courtney E. (Legault) Richard, Rachael K. Legault, Damon A. Legault, William Vance, and his wife Meghan, Bruce Moschettti and his wife Elizabeth, Marissa Schecker and her husband Zachariah Conley, Kelsey Schecker, Jillian Ketola and Jennifer Hammonds; 22 great-grandchildren Trevor Richard, Everett Richard, Devin Richard, Everly Legault, Emersyn Legault, Natalie Legault, Noella Legault, James Legault, Mason Michaud, Lilah Ketola, Kole Ketola, Jasmine Hammonds, Jaylah Hammonds, Jayleigh Hammonds, Jalyssa Hammonds, Angelina Vega, Mikenzy Sargent, Mikayla Sargent, Zoey Conley, Joseph Conley, Avery Vance, Jade Vance, and Keilani Schecker-Lynch, and one great-great-granddaughter, Scarlet Nichols; two brothers, Phil Russell and Thomas Russell, and a sister Marion Lidell, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by a brother John Russell, and a sister Helen Carsten and her son, F. Donald Legault Jr.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Catherine also loved camping with her family.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 10:30-11:30 am in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA with a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
