Carol Ann McDonald, born on December 22, 1938, in Winchendon, Massachusetts, returned to her Heavenly Father on September 19, 2026. Carol was a devout believer; her faith in the Lord and Savior was the cornerstone of her life. She was a beacon of love and compassion, ever supportive to those around her. Her warm presence will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones.
Carol spent the majority of her professional life in banking, serving her community as a dedicated Bank Teller until her retirement. She was an outstanding mother and, to her children, the greatest mother on earth. Her love for her family was unrivaled, and she always found peace at Wells Beach, her personal sanctuary. Carol took pleasure in the simple things, especially laundry.
Carol is survived by her loving children, Michael McDonald and his wife Mary, Shawne McDonald and her husband Anthony Racette, Erin Sawyer, Brendan McDonald, her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas McDonald, Sarah Homon, Edye Sawyer, Brayden McDonald, Brooklyn McDonald, and her cherished great-granddaughter, Hazel Fortney. She also leaves her siblings, Pauline Daigle and Donald Patria Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Blanche Patria.
