WINCHENDON – Camille J. “Cam” LeBlanc Jr., 77, of 40 Woodlawn Street, Winchendon, died peacefully at his residence Saturday evening, November 19th, with his family at his side.

He was born in Fitchburg on September 2, 1934, the son of the late Camille J. and Sanelma “Kitty” (Palonen) LeBlanc and had lived in Winchendon for 36 years.

Cam graduated from Lunenburg High School with the Class of 1952 and attended Northeastern University.  He graduated from Worcester Junior College in 1953.  From 1955 to 1958, he honorably served in the United States Air Force.

Cam worked for the FAA as an electronic technician from 1961 to 1993, working in Worcester, Keene, NH and mostly in Templeton.  He later worked for ten years at Hannaford Supermarket stocking specialty foods.  Cam was a member and Past Commander of Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion, and was also a member of 40 +8, and the Amvets.  He was an active member of Finnish Club of Saima in Fitchburg and was a former member of the Winchendon Lions Club.

He leaves his wife of 35 years, Nancy C. (Homon) LeBlanc; six children, Cam J. LeBlanc and his wife Pam of San Jacinto, CA, Gary J. LeBlanc and his wife Susan of Oklahoma City, OK, Kim A. Gates and her husband Tim of Fitchburg, Donna E. Lesser and her husband Jeff of Ft. Myers, FL, Glenn S. LeBlanc and his wife Susan of Portage, Indiana and Raelyn M. Shack and her husband Jim of Shirley; nine grandchildren, four great grandsons, two step great grandchildren as well as nephews and nieces.  A sister, Mary Ann Larson, predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23rd at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.  The Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate.

Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.

Calling hours in the funeral home will be Tuesday, November 22nd from 6 to 8 P.M.  A Legion Service will be held at 6:30 P.M.
