Bradley A. Sanborn

HUBBARDSTON – Bradley A. Sanborn, 81, of Hubbardston, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday morning, August 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Worcester on June 14, 1944, he was the son of the late Marvin and Goldie (Wilson) Sanborn and was raised in Shrewsbury. A graduate of Shrewsbury High School, Bradley went on to proudly serve in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966.
Following his service, Bradley lived in Worcester for 20 years before making his home in Hubbardston, where he resided for the past 33 years. He dedicated 44 years of his career as a store manager at Julio’s Grocery Store and later continued his commitment to service at Stop & Shop for over two decades, retiring at the age of 75.
Bradley’s greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rosalinde, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised 14 children: Kimberly Pirner and her husband Kevin of Hubbardston; Kerri Flaherty and her husband Stephen of Mascotte, FL; Keith Sanborn and his wife Jamie of Holden; Kris Sanborn and his wife Bobbie Joe of Hubbardston; Shawn Sanborn of Unico, TN; Joseph Sanborn and his fiancée Gina Sheeran of Worcester; Kate Cote and her husband Bryan of Templeton; Rebecca Grover of Gardner; Ginger Sanborn of Statesville, North Carolina; Matthew Sanborn of Hubbardston; Mark Sanborn of Hubbardston; Stephen Sanborn of Hubbardston; Thomas Sanborn of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico; Nicholas Becker of Hubbardston & Robbie Sanborn (pre-deceased father in 2009).
He also leaves many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Bradley will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his deep love for his family, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Care Central VNA & Hospice, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, Ma.
Calling hours will be held at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street Winchendon, MA on Sunday August 24th between 5:00pm – 8:00pm and are open to the public.
Private funeral services will be held at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA.
Burial with military honors will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
