Arthur H. Caron

Arthur H. Caron, 96, died Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Gardner Rehab and Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Eva S. (Perrault) Caron, who died on March 27, 2020. He was born in Springvale, ME, on October 26, 1929, a son of the late Frank X and Helen (Croteau) Caron. He was a graduate of Sanford High School in Sanford, ME.

He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired after 20 years, 8 months, and 7 days. from 1948 to 1968 as a Korean and Vietnam Veteran.

He also worked for Aro Fab Company and for Honeywell for 16 years as a computer operator until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and enjoyed building miniature doll houses.

He leaves three children, Suzanne D’Amore and her partner Chris Woodward of Gardner, David Caron and his wife Vicki of Winchendon, and Helen Doyle and her husband John of Utah; her stepbrother Bernard Perrault; a stepsister Rachelle Langevin; ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He is also predeceased by a son, Paul Caron, a grandson, Sean D. Caron, and his brother, Roland Caron.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.
