Alfred J. Daneault, born on February 21, 1942, in Gardner, Massachusetts, died on July 7, 2025. A longtime resident of Winchendon, Alfred was a dedicated worker for Foundry Winchendon.
Alfred was known for his love of the outdoors. He was often found fishing, a pastime that brought him immense joy and tranquility. He also had a passion for picnics and playing softball. He was a RedSox fan, a man who would help his neighbors when they were in need. He was a true Old Yankee and was the Salt of the Earth.
He is survived by his two children, Cynthia Drew and Michael Daneault; granddaughters, Sara (Matty) LeDoux, and Lea (Matt) Devlin; grandsons, Alfred (Crystal) III, and Randall Haberern, great grandchildren; Damien Monteverde, Hannah and Jack Devlin, and his sister Nancy Daneault. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Daneault, and his parents, Alfred and Ethel Daneault a sister June Duguay and brother Steven Daneault
Alfred's life and legacy will be honored at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., Winchendon, MA at a later date.
