Alan "Al" J. Bourgeois, 65 of Westminster, MA.
Alan J. Bourgeois due to a complication during surgery entered into eternal rest August 20, at St. Vincent's Hospital with loving family and friends at his side. He was 65. Al was born February 25, 1959 in Fitchburg, MA. The son of the late Norman and Esther (Holm) Bourgeois.
Al graduated from Oakmont. Al was multi-talented and worked many years in construction for Ray Bourgeois Wrecking Excavation of Westminster, Jim's Electrical Service of Ashburnham, West St., Service Center, woodworking, and retired as owner of a mechanics shop in Gardner.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dorothy "Rusty" Chase Bourgeois, two daughters, Renee (Shane) Martin of Ashburnham and Chelsea Bourgeois of Gardner, three grandchildren, Olivia and Isaac Martin, Sydney Bourgeois and two sisters, Jeannine (Michael) Forget and Patricia (David) Chaves. He leaves nieces, Michelle, Danielle, Nicole, Carley, Wendy, a nephew Steven and great nephews Elijah, Cullen and several dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, David and Glen Bourgeois.
Al was a member and long serving Director of the West End Beagle Club. He was always ready to offer a helping hand to those who needed help. In death, Al was still giving of himself as an organ donor.
There will be a celebration of life at the West End Beagle Club on September 7, 2024 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM.
